Created by Palmer Design, the alpine course of the Chateau Whistler Golf Club is truly special. It's not surprising that in this neck of the woods the course is a natural wonderland, but one is hardly off the first tee when they notice bears living in a spinney down the right side. Many of the holes are framed by towering cedars, and no fewer than nine lakes and a pair of winding creeks come into play. Not too long ago the course underwent a major renovation, so the condition is always superb. Just ask the bear, coyote, beaver . . . they know this is a special place to play golf.
