Founded in 1901, St. Annes Old Links is perhaps less celebrated than its neighbor, Royal Lytham, but its members are no less friendly and its course is in many ways as remarkable. The club's first professional, George Lowe, designed the initial nine holes and thereby laid the foundation of a terrific links. The links hosted its first major event in 1919, with the arrival of the English Ladies Amateur Championship. Since 1926 the course has served as an official qualifying venue for Open Championship held at Royal Lytham & St. Annes. The pure links character of this course has changed little over the years.
We also have exceptional
English Scenics as well as those of
The Beatles' Liverpool, which isn't far from St. Annes Golf Club.
