The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts is an exclusive sporting club near Boston. It was the first private club in the United States formed exclusively for outdoor activities. It is most famous as a golf club: It was one of the five clubs that formed what is now the United States Golf Association. It has hosted the U.S. Open three times and the Ryder Cup Matches once.
We also invite you to view our
New England Scenics. There's nothing quite like a day out admiring the
foliage and seasonal decorations, studying the region's
colonial architecture, discovering America's oldest
family-owned farm, touring the area's
historic sites, or spending an evening at a
county fair—especially if one is a dedicated member of
Red Sox Nation.
