Since opening in the spring of 2000, Rocky Crest has consistently been ranked among the top courses in all of Canada. Additionally, the Delta Rocky Crest was voted the fifth best golf resort in Canada in 2006. It's easy to see why it's become a darling. Located off the northern edge of Lake Joseph near the pretty village of MacTier, this Tom McBroom layout has a subtle challenge. While some new courses have tried to introduce razzle-dazzle by bulldozing the land and then erecting artificial waterfalls or mini-mountains, McBroom has used the local talent to make Rocky Crest stand out. He has exposed the great hunks of granite that run beneath the course's surface and used them to frame the holes.
