Founded in 1878, Royal Troon Golf Club is home to one of the finest links in Scotland and a regular on the Open Championship rota since the 1920s. It is a true out-and-back links that begins on relatively flat land and travels into some rugged dunes. Along the way is the famous "Postage Stamp," the shortest par-3 in major championship golf but one of the most difficult holes anywhere in the game. Royal Troon is the most recent golf club to assume the royal moniker.
