Ljunghusens Golf Club is very convenient to Falsterbo, and like its highly respected neighbor, it is set beside the sea on a sand base. Also like Falsterbo, it is one of Sweden's oldest golf clubs having been formed in 1932. In 1965, it became the first Swedish club with 27 holes. Ljunghusens Golf Club has hosted many important tournaments because it demands accuracy: thick heather borders nearly every fairway.
