Ullna Golf Club is a fairly newcomer to Swedish golf, but since its inception in 1981 it has proven to be an excellent tournament for both men and women professionals. Both major European tours have used the venue, with much of the challenge created by the lovely Ullnasjon, a lake that borders a number of holes. Oddly enough, the course was laid out by Sven Tumba a Swedish hockey icon who became a golf pioneer. (See the wood carving of him below.) Ullna Golf Club is located about 15 minutes north of Stockholm.
