GOLF de CATHARGE (La Soukra)

Golf de Carthage, La Soukra Built in 1927, the golf course at La Soukra of the Carthage Golf Club is among the oldest in Africa. Its fairways are rather flat, and it relies on small clusters of trees (pine, cypress, olive, palm, and orange) to create a fine challenge. Small greens make accuracy imperative if one is to attain the modest par score of 66. There is no more historic course in Tunisia than Golf de Carthage, La Soukra.

The course is close to the picturesque city of Sidi Bou Said, which is featured in our outstanding collection of Tunisian Scenics.
