One of the New Hampshire seacoast's most popular events is the Vintage & Vine at Strawbery Banke. It is held in partnership with the New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlets and features a wine–tasting tour through the museum's historic houses, which exhibit more than 400 years of life in the bustling waterfront neighborhood of "Puddle Dock." This extraordinary event has featured:
- A vast assortment of fine wines throughout the museum's historic houses available for tasting and ordering at a discount
- Star chefs such as Jonathan Cartwright of the White Barn Inn, Mark Segal of the 100 Club, Julie Dunfey of White Apron Catering and Matt King of Mombo demonstrating their culinary skills and grilling on-site for guests
- Delicious hors d'oeuvres from top local restaurants
- Live music, including Dave Gerard and the band Truffle (Electric)
- Reserve wines
- Artisan cheeses and antipasto stations by Golden Harvest and Carl's Meat Market
- Locally-made cider
- Bonfire on Puddle Dock
- Silent auction
On this special day, guests step into the ambiance of each of the restored, historic buildings and sample selected wines from around the world. Whether a seasoned expert, or an intrigued beginner, everyone is welcomed by winery representatives who offer expert advice along with samples of their art. A VIP ticket is available for a separate tasting of reserve wines. All wines are available to order at a discount on this special night.
