David Cooper (born 12 February 1987 in Stockton, Calif.) is a first-baseman in the Toronto Blue Jays organization. Cooper was selected by the Blue Jays in the first round (17th overall) of the 2008 amateur entry draft. David Cooper played his college baseball at the University of California, where he earned the Robert A. Roos Award as Cal's top hitter (.382). Previously, David Cooper had transferred from Cal State Fullerton, where he was a member of the 2006 College World Series All-Tournament team.
