Jason Place (born May 8, 1988 in Piedmont, South Carolina) is an outfielder in the Boston Red Sox organization. The Red Sox selected Jason Place in the first round of the 2006 draft out of Wren High School in South Carolina. Place was named to the second team of High School All-Americans by Baseball America his senior year. Place hit a homerun over the Green Monster during his first plate appearance at Fenway Park, which took place during the 2009 Futures Game.
