Casey Kelly (born 4 October 1989; Sarasota, Florida) is a prospect in the Boston Red Sox organization. Casey Kelly was a first-round draft choice (30th overall) in the 2008 MLB Draft. Kelly was named Mr. Baseball in Florida in 2008. Prior to his professional baseball career, Kelly was also considered a top football prospect, but turned down a full scholarship to play quarterback for the University of Tennessee Volunteers. In 2009, Kelly pitched in the All-Star Futures Game and was named Minor League Pitcher of the Year by the Red Sox.
