Jesús Montero (born November 28, 1989 in Guacara, Venezuela) is a right-handed catcher/designated hitter in the New York Yankees organization. The ultra-rich Yankees signed Montero as an international free–agent in July, 2006. In 2009, Montero was named the third–best prospect in baseball by Baseball America That same year Jesús Montero was named to the All-Star Futures Game for the second year in a row.
