Ryan Westmoreland (born April 27, 1990 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island) is an outfielder–first baseman in the Boston Red Sox organization. Westmoreland was drafted by the Red Sox in the fifth round of the 2008 draft out of Portsmouth High School. While in school, Ryan Westmoreland earned many state and national honors, including First Team All–State during his last two years. His senior year, Ryan Westmoreland was named RI Gatorade Player of the Year as well as Division Most Outstanding Player.
